Rare hire boosts Devereux’s tax practice

It is a rare addition for Devereux, which has spent much of the past two years building up its non-legal expertise with the hire of chief executive Beverly Landais from Baker & McKenzie (The Lawyer, 21 May 2009) and senior clerk Vince Plant from Fountain Court (7 September 2009).

Devereux head of chambers Colin Edelman QC said: “Jonathan’s an accomplished practitioner who brings with him a wealth of expertise

Meanwhile, Lincoln’s Inn set Hardwicke Building has added Lesley Anderson QC to its roster. Anderson, who took silk in 2006, will retain dual tenancy with Manchester set Kings Chambers.
