So Lovells corporate partner Frances Le Grys found out when instructed by German publishing house H Bauer on its acquisition of Emap's consumer titles. Obviously any corporate lawyer worth their salt would have to get very much to grips with the products their client intended to buy. And so it was that, for the past two months, Le Grys's office has been festooned with magazines.
Strangely, on this occasion the due diligence was not fobbed off on the associates.
