Radcliffes is modernising its private client department in preparation for the retirement of three partners during the next few years.
Private client partner Kelly Noel-Smith, who specialises in offshore tax and planning, joins the firm today (1 October) from Lawrence Graham. Radcliffes private client head Clara Trounson said that the area is becoming more international. "Between a half and a third of our work is now offshore, and Noel-Smith is the calibre of person we are looking for," she said. Noel-Smith's move follows the hire of Jean Dollimore, who joined as head of the charity group from Trowers & Hamlins last month. At the same time private client partner Bill Pencharz, who has a general trust practice, leaves today. It is not known where he is going.
