Two fee-earners and one paralegal have been axed from the corporate department of RadcliffesLeBrasseur in the firm's second round of redundancies in the past three months

In November, Radcliffes made eight redundancies, including one fee-earner, in part of a cost-cutting measure which also saw the firm cut back on expenses such as biscuits and Christmas cards.

The latest cuts are the result of a dearth in corporate work. Simon Dinnick, head of the healthcare practice and member of the executive board, told The Lawyer: “In common with many others, the economic climate in corporate work has forced us to make this decision. The firm is, however, recruiting in other busy departments, such as health and private client.”

Radcliffes continues its search for a new chief executive after the shock departure of Vincent Denham in August last year.
