Bar chairman Dan Brennan QC retorts to Lord Irvine's comments that lawyers want to save legal aid to line their own pockets. The Bar was accusing Lord Irvine of turning his back on the old, the young and the disabled by refusing to include a clause in the Access to Justice Bill that access to justice must be provided to people without means, to the disabled and to those in deprived areas.
