Essex Court second junior Nigel Jones to replace Geraldine O'Sullivan who left earlier this year
Pump Court Tax Chambers has hired a new senior clerk after the sudden departure earlier this year of Geraldine O'Sullivan.
The lucrative and much sought after post has gone to Nigel Jones, second junior clerk at Essex Court Chambers where he has been for eight years. He will take over the five-strong clerking team in mid-December.
Jones' appointment was made last night after several tough interviews. Pump Court, which has 23 barristers, would not comment on the reasons for O'Sullivan's departure.
