This year, The Lawyer’s annual ranking of the largest UK law firms by turnover is available as an interactive, digital benchmarking tool. For the first time this will allow you to manipulate each data set against the metrics of your choice.
The biggest event for public sector lawyers this year was arguably the Government's new Catalist super-panel, the replacement for L-Cat. Lured by the honey of the high-paying 'special projects' sub-panel for projects worth £100m-plus, even the magic circle pitched, with Allen & Overy, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Linklaters all securing places.
Some of the City's largest firms also won places on the other major group, the 'full commercial' sub-panel, qualifying them for government IT, property, construction, employment, corporate and IP work.
