Texas-based ProSoft Corporation has launched a new version of its time and expense tracking package, Carpe Diem.
Carpe Diem allows users to record billable time through a series of timers which can be labelled, for example with a client's name. It can also create electronic timesheets and expense reports, which can be posted into most databases or billing systems.
The latest version of the package, Carpe Diem 2.0, uses an open client/server architecture and can read and write data on most host platforms, from Windows NT to mainframes. It features the first Windows-based version of CDAdmin, the system's administration application, a security system and a new timesheet/expense sheet window that allows users to view entries by day, week or month.
David Goldstein, ProSoft president, said: "With Carpe Diem 2.0 we are taking the industry standard that we set with the original Carpe Diem for Windows and raising the bar by several notches.
"No other time tracking and entry software system in the world comes close to matching the flexibility, depth of features and ease of use of Carpe Diem 2.0 and we expect our customer base to grow as a result," he claimed.
