Property firm Ross & Craig has set up a specialist land regeneration unit to advise developers and property owners on land contamination problems. The group will form part of the firm's environment division, headed by Martin Polden, chair of the Environmental Law Foundation (Elf). Elf has just appointed its first director, Katherine Davis, who joins the organisation from the West Midlands Environment Network. Polden says after three years Elf needs a full-time senior official. The Elf executive has also been joined by former director of Friends of the Earth, David Gee, and environment lawyers Tom Handler and Stephen Lloyd.
