  • A 'survey' of LinkedIn profiles?! Hardly a robust piece of research given it excludes the majority of lawyers registered in England & Wales.

    Also wouldn't be surprised if public school educated lawyers are slightly more inclined than the average person to crow about it in their LinkedIn profiles...

    Its definately more complicated than that! But, having said that, I do agree with you to a point. I was state educated (normal comp) and I didn't go to Oxbridge but Im in the Magic Circle - because I chose to study academic subjects, worked hard at school and worked by rear end off at university....
