Lawyers who supply information to the Internet have been provided with their own Web site.
Nick Lockett, a barrister at 10 King's Bench Walk, has set up the Netlaw site, which provides information on a range of legal matters aimed at lawyers and the public. It includes newsletters on computer law, personal injury, and environmental law.
Summaries of the new EU Directive on Unfair terms in consumer agreements and Lockett's own book, 'Unfair terms in consumer agreement directives', are also available.
He says: "As well as providing lawyers and the public with various documents and articles, the site serves as a marketing tool for barristers and solicitors. It provides 24-hour legal advice and guidance for anyone who needs it."
Lockett specialises in computer and Internet law and legal issues relating to bulletin boards. He regularly advises Internet and bulletin board providers on legal obligations.
Lockett's Internet home page can be accessed on http: //www.ftech.co.uk/~netlaw.
