The growth of the independent pro bono group run by law firms continues apace. Now the group is preparing to hire a full-time director to get the venture off the ground. The society is said to be supportive of the venture, but its lack of vision on this matter is startling.

Instead, those who want to do it will have some backup. For the Law Society, the politics of the situation clouds any vision.
