Private move for specialist

Local authority specialist Sarah Frith has joined Hampshire firm Blake Lapthorn from the London Borough of Brent to help develop the firm's local authority department.

Frith spent three years at Brent as a procurement specialist. She helped create the largest externalised revenue and benefit contract in the UK and was legal adviser on a large externalisation programme.

She said: "I spent some time choosing just the right firm - I wanted to work for a dynamic, commercial, forward-looking practice."
