Just two weeks after the news of the charity walk success of a team from Thomas Eggar, Sub-prime Of Our Lives, comes more news from the South East firm’s media harlots.
Opera singer Anthony Nixon, who is a tax and succession planning partner at the firm in his spare time, features on a billboard advert in his dinner jacket next to the strapline “ambitious in law, ambitious in life”.
The poster, underscored by the line “an exciting law firm with ambition, difference and flair with a cast of many”, is situated at the busy Charlotte Place roundabout near the firm’s new Southampton office and is intended to convey the full excitement of receiving legal advice on tax law and succession planning off a busy roundabout in Hampshire.
An email from a marketing representative at the firm advises Tulkinghorn that the billboard will be followed by others later this month featuring “Esther Smith (employment and horse rider), Sue Adams (tax and mountain climber) and Caroline Armitage (corporate and marathon runner) all together”.
Tulkinghorn trusts that Southampton drivers will enjoy the spectacle of Esther Smith riding employment and Caroline Armitage climbing tax.
However, Thomas Eggar partner and corporate head Neil Hart may be less keen on the larger-than-life depiction of Caroline Armitage running corporate.
