Thanks a lot!!! Reply Link Jeffrey Blum 30 January 2009 at 12:23 Great report Hi Gerard, I’ve just read your terrific account of life in Kazakhstan. You paint good mental pictures for us all to share, thanks. Clearly life back in Blighty will never be the same for you ! Moore 30 January 2009 at 16:56 Invaluable Experience Dear Gerard: Your comments show how living and working in a foreign country gives one insights not gained during a brief business trip. When I was a twentysomething lawyer myself, I had a chance to live and work abroad like you; I, too, found that the experience truly changed my perspective–and improved my practice skills. Thanks for your insightful comments. Janet H. Could it be any more fun? Your friend, Gary Chuff Reply Link Sidra Shiraz 5 June 2010 at 18:02 Dear Gerard This sounds like a fantastic experience. I have just viewed a similar position advertised by BPP Law School. I have applied for the role, but I am interested to know exactly what kind of legal work you managed to do. I am keen to gain as much hands-on experience as I can, mainly commercial work. I would be very interested to know the extent of your involvement in transactions. Thank you. Sidra Reply Link Anonymous 16 March 2013 at 01:08 I glad to hear that you had a good experience during your staying in Kazakhstan. However, I noticed the mistake you did in the post. In order to avoid the further confusion of other readers I just want to rectify that Kazakhstan became independent in 1991 (not in 1992). Faithfully yours, Zhandos Reply Link Name Email Cancel reply Threaded commenting powered by interconnect/it code.
