Portuguese independent Sérvulo & Associados has voted through a transition to a single managing partner model, with Pedro Furtado Martins taking up the new role.
Furtado Martins will chair the firm’s executive board, which also includes partners Ricardo Guimarães and João Saúde.
The role of managing partner was previously shared by Rui Medeiros and Fernando Ferreira Pinto. The duo were managing partners of Sérvulo legacy firms Sérvulo Correia & Associados and Ferreira Pinto & Associados, respectively. The firms merged in November 2007.
Furtado Martins will take up his new position in April, initially for a two-year term.
