Poach the books

Perhaps it's because I'm an accountant that I found myself adding up how many times your issue of 2 August used the verb "poach" - nine appearances over three pages.

What is the legal profession coming to, bearing in mind the word implies an illegal act, viz the entering of another's land and stealing game? Perhaps the solution to the Government's problem about hunting is for the enthusiasts to switch their target from foxes to lawyers!
