On his rounds of the City last week, Tulkinghorn noticed that Slaughter and May is the latest firm to install an incredibly large sculpture in its swanky new offices. While Lovells opted for a tall metal construction, Slaughters has gone au naturel and plumped for something that looks rather like a giant tree. But Tulkinghorn was relieved to discover that Slaughters lawyers haven't got too carried away with their new conceptual art. The running joke among (male) assistants seems to be along the lines of: "Whose left a log in the atrium?" Classy.
