Portuguese firm PLMJ has opened a new office in Mozambique through a joint partnership with a local Maputo-based practice.
PLMJ and Tomás Timbane & Associados have created Gabinete Legal Moçambique (GLM).
The move follows the end of the almost three-year partnership between PLMJ and Mozambique firm MGA Advogados & Consultores in June this year.
From office premises in Maputo, Tomás Timbane will head GLM’s team of around a dozen leading lawyers.
GLM will act as the exclusive Mozambique member of the PLMJ International Legal Network, which also has member firms in Portugal, Angola, Brazil, China, Macau and Cape Verde.
