Pinsent Masons has launched a series of internal 'values' for all employees to follow after completing a firmwide consultation lasting more than a year.
Central management began a consultation with all levels of staff last summer to help integrate the legacy Pinsent Curtis Biddle and Masons firms.
The values are 'respect and cooperation', 'ambition and excellence' and 'open and approachable'.
They will appear in all internal appraisals, induction days and even at a graduate recruitment level.
Head of HR Jonathan Bond said: "It's all about embedding it into the day-to-day approach."
Pinsents has appointed a number of values agents, who are responsible for spreading the values throughout the firm in workshops and training sessions.
Every office and practice group has designated agents, which are drawn from the ranks of partners, associates and secretaries at the firm.
Senior partner Chris Mullen said: "The agents are a local army of enthusiasts who are really into the programme." The first values workshop was attended by Mullen, managing partner David Ryan and HR director Bond.
The launch of the values coincides with a move into new London offices in the CityPoint building. But managing partner David Ryan will have to wait to fulfil his dream of having a single Pinsents office in London. Despite taking on more than 40,000sq ft of space, some lawyers still remain in the firm's Aylesbury Street office.
