Former Pinsent Curtis litigation partner Guy Harvey, who had been at Simpson Curtis for 22 years, joined Dickinson Dees last week.
Of the original 12 Simpson Curtis litigation partners, he is the eighth to leave since the merger with Pinsent & Co 20 months ago.
Harvey at one time headed the litigation department. Another former head of Pinsent's litigation in Leeds, Gary O'Brien, left to join Eversheds in Birmingham a year ago.
Insiders claim there was a clash of culture between the Simpson Curtis and the Pinsent & Co litigation lawyers.
