Pinsent Masons has taken on extra floorspace in Manchester and Edinburgh to allow it to expand its presence in the cities.
The firm will consolidate its two Manchester offices under ;one ;roof ;at ;3 Hardman Street in the city’s prime Spinning fields development. It will take up 35,000sq ft on the eleventh and twelfth floors of the building in June.
Pinsents ;has ;also moved its 45 Edinburgh based staff into larger 14,500sq ft offices in the Fountainbridge district of the Scottish capital.
Managing partner David Ryan said: “The new office space is part of a long-term strategy.
“We’re still the new boys on the block in Manchester, so it’s a clear signal to the market that we’re here to stay.”
Scotland head Fraser McMillan said: “We’ve been looking for some time to find somewhere to give us more room for growth.”
In ;Manchester ;the firm agreed a 15-year lease last year with a rent-free period.
