Pinsent Masons has formed an alliance with a Chinese firm to enable it to expand the amount of construction clients it acts for.
Pinsents has signed an agreement with Beijing Hesen Law Firm, which is led by construction lawyers Ye Wanhe and Elvis Zhou.
This alliance is in addition to three of its own offices across China and a referral relationship with Salans, which has its own Chinese presence. A spokesperson explained: “International law firms are restricted in what they can do because of licensing rules. This agreement allows us to have the capability of working with domestic lawyers.”
