Phillips Fox has adopted the DLA moniker as part of its entry into the DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary alliance.
The firm will rebrand as DLA Phillips Fox when its becomes a member of DLA Piper Group later this year.
Tony Crawford, Phillips Fox chief executive said: "The creation of DLA Phillips Fox is our recognition of the rapid integration of Australian and New Zealand business into the world economy and it fits the long-term strategic intent of both firms.”

As first reported by The Lawyer (4 May) Phillips Fox has formalised its relationship with DLA after following a longstanding agreement in which the two firms referred work to each other.
DLA Piper says the alliance will give it greater visibility in the Australasian market and will enhance its ability to support clients' international needs.
DLA Phillips Fox is one of the largest law firms in Australasia with over 160 partners and 1,400 staff.
