What time do you start work each day? Usually around 9ish, but the BlackBerry means that it could be anytime from 6.30.
What’s the most boring thing you’ve been asked to do in your job? Anything to do with IT systems - I don’t think my brain works that way.

What is the most unusual Christmas present that you have received from a colleague?A couple of years ago I got some anti-aging cream from Secret Santa – not only was I horrified but I couldn’t project my horror in anyone’s particular direction.
If you could introduce one law, what would it be and why? A law that makes grumpiness at work illegal—we all have bad days now and again, but surely not everyday.
How did you spend your last bonus? (If you have never received a bonus, how would you hope to spend it in the future)? If I had a bonus, I’d love to treat my husband to that Aston Martin he’s been dreaming about for many years (but it would have to be a BIG bonus).
What are the best perks of your role? The diversity of the work that I’m involved in and the people I work with in the HR&L team (I’m sure that sounds boring but its true).
What do you wear on dress-down Fridays? Jeans and heels.
Have you ever been asked to do anything at work that you suspect might have been illegal?Most definitely – but I couldn’t possibly say what or when, other than it was a very long time ago, I said no and found a new job very quickly.
What is the most irritating habit of any partner you’ve worked for? Not actually worked for but I used to work in an office on the floor below someone who had a really annoying habit of stomping around their office in what seemed like a pair of clogs - it could sometimes go on for hours.
How do you unwind after the end of a hard week? I’m very lucky to live in a fabulous part of the country with glorious walks and country pubs on my doorstep - say no more.
Do you see your colleagues on weekends? Heaven forbid - I’m sure they’ve seen enough of me during the week.
Have you ever fallen in love at work? (If so, please provide details). I have - and we’re now very happily married.
If you were a lawyer what would your practice area be and why? Employment Law.
What do you eat for lunch?I work with a team that are very generous in terms of keeping the department stocked up with goodies so lunch is what’s on offer that day - normally rather unhealthy but always very nice.
Is your salary (in thousands) greater than your age? Happy to say it still is (just).
What items do you always carry around with you at work? The dreaded blackberry and my projects book - I have a memory like a sieve so I need to write it all down.
Who do you have photos of on your desk? My dog – the cutest JR you’ve ever seen (but I am biased) – and my husband.
