This year, The Lawyer’s annual ranking of the largest UK law firms by turnover is available as an interactive, digital benchmarking tool. For the first time this will allow you to manipulate each data set against the metrics of your choice.
Peters & Peters has created the role of CEO and filled it with Kim Archer, who joins from Bloomsbury-based Bishop & Sewell.
Archer will be responsible for driving the growth of Peters & Peters, senior partner Keith Oliver said.
“We’re confident that Kim will apply her commercial and legal skills to enable us to harness the tremendous gains we’ve made in recent years and push forward,” he added.
Archer spent five years at Bishop & Sewell, where she qualified as a solicitor. She said the growth would centre on Peters & Peters’ core strengths of international fraud, commercial litigation and business crime, adding: “These include strengthening our international links and platform for growth.”
The firm, which picked up Niche Firm of the Year at The Lawyer Awards in June, will make its debut in The Lawyer UK 200 Annual Report 2011 with a turnover of £8.9m.
