Edwin Coe has strengthened its corporate team with the hire of Fladgate Fielder partner Andrew Bretherton (pictured). He is the fifth partner to join the London litigation specialist this year.

Private client and charity specialist Wilsons has taken on four new assistant solicitors: charity lawyers Louise Ervin from Thomas Eggar and Sinead Geaney from Sarah Hayes Solicitors; employment lawyer Geraldine Dolan from Lee Bolton Monier-Williams; and family lawyer Katy Barber from Coffin Mew.
Charity law specialist Con Alexander has joined Veale Wasbrough in Bristol as a partner. Alexander worked at Osborne Clarke in Bristol for five years and prior to that spent several years as a partner at Bates Wells & Braithwaite in London.

Legance Studio Legale Associato has hired Gilberto Nava as senior counsel in its technology, media and telecoms practice. He previously held an in-house role at Telecom Italia.
K&L Gates has taken on Markus Runde as media/telecoms partner in Berlin. He joins from broadcaster ProSiebenSat1 Media, where he was executive vice-president for regulatory affairs and distribution.

Australian firm Minter Ellison has appointed Russell Miller as its new chairman, taking over from outgoing chair Gillian Brown.
Baker & McKenzie has hired London corporate partner Clive Cook to the new role of chairman of the Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia practice.
Middle Eastern firm Al Tamimi & Company has hired Marl Hoyle as regional head of arbitration. Hoyle, a chartered arbitrator, was previously head of international dispute resolution at Tanfield Chambers.
Corporate associate Dennis Ryan has relocated from the Cayman Islands office of Conyers Dill & Pearman to the firm’s Dubai office.
Fulbright & Jaworski has hired IP partner Charles Baker to work in its Houston office. He joins from Porter & Hedges, where he was a partner.
Antitrust partner David Wales has joined Jones Day in Washington. He was previously at the Federal Trade Commission’s Bureau
Morgan Lewis has taken on employment partner Howard Radzely. He was previously deputy secretary of labour at the United States Department of Labour. He joins Morgan Lewis’s Washington DC office.
