Move of the week
The move comes after Simmons announced that it was to close its Rotterdam office and move its lawyers to Amsterdam. Ploum Lodder managing partner Duco Lodder said: “[Leppink’s] extensive European experience in the fields of intellectual property and marketing is perfectly in line with one of the most important pillars of our Osborne Clarke alliance.” Leppink is the second partner to leave Simmons’ Dutch practice in recent weeks, following the exit of former global head of information, communication and technology Job Rietkerk to an in-house role at Nidera in April.
