Allen & Overy (A&O) has raided Clifford Chance for German-qualified competition law specialist Martin Bechtold. Bechtold, a partner at Clifford Chance since 1994, will be joining A&O’s Brussels office.
Francesca Devine, a partner at Hull-based insolvency boutique Carrick Read, has left to form her own firm. Devine Law will specialise in business, commercial and property law.
Manchester firm Turner Parkinson has promoted private client lawyer Lucille Haire to associate. Head of the trust and estate team, Haire is already a partner in TP Private Client, the law firm’s private client division.
