This year, The Lawyer’s annual ranking of the largest UK law firms by turnover is available as an interactive, digital benchmarking tool. For the first time this will allow you to manipulate each data set against the metrics of your choice.
Commercial property partner John May, who specialises in the firm’s core area of landlord and tenant, is leaving the 12-partner outfit to set up a rival firm, also in Kensington.
May, who has been with Pemberton Greenish for 18 years, said the move was not hostile, although he did expect several of his long-standing private clients to transfer across to the new firm, which will launch in October.
Meanwhile, head of the firm’s residential conveyancing team, Vibeke Walton, will retire at the end of the year to spend more time with her family and to travel.
Senior partner Damien Greenish said the firm was looking to recruit two replacement partners, although the appointments were not a priority.
