Paul Hastings Janofsky & Walker has brought a five-partner team in to its Paris office with lawyers from Hogan Lovells and Proskauer Rose.
The new arrivals include Hogan Lovells Paris corporate chief Pascal de Moidrey and Proskauer Rose Paris corporate head Guillaume Kellner.
They join Paul Hastings alongside Hogan Lovells corporate partner Alexis Terray, Hogan Lovells counsel Nicolas Fageur, who joins as a partner, and Proskauer corporate litigation partner Nicolas Fageur.
“The arrival of this dynamic group of lawyers will significantly reinforce our profile and market share in M&A and private equity in Paris and throughout Europe, setting the stage for sustained growth,” said Paul Hastings chairman Seth Zachary.
Paris corporate head Olivier Deren added: “The recent rebound in private equity and transactional activity is expected to continue over the coming years. The addition of these lawyers will position Paul Hastings to capitalise on this trend.”
The news comes after the departure of Paul Hastings’ European projects head Jonathan Simpson, London asset finance head Keith Wilson and employment chief Christopher Walters (14 February 2011).
