Paul Hastings builds Asian securitisation practice with Sidley Austin captures

Paul Hastings Janofsky & Walker’s Hong Kong office has nabbed a team of lawyers from Sidley Austin Brown & Wood’s Asian securitisation practice.

UK-qualified partner Neil Campbell joined Paul Hastings on 1 May, taking along senior associate Michelle Taylor and associates Nima Farkhondeh, Rachel Purchas and Tracy Kung.

Neil Torpey, Paul Hastings vice-chair in Hong Kong, told The Lawyer that Campbell’s appointment now gives the firm a securitisation capability across Asia. "We have as a firm a very strong securitisation practice and now Neil’s team will cover the rest of Asia. His combination with the rest of Asia will be very powerful," he said.
