Pasty power

As Brick Court Chambers gears up for a 100km walk in aid of Oxfam and the Gurkha Welfare Trust, the set’s senior clerk Ian ‘Iron Man’ Moyler has been giving the hikers the benefit of his knowledge on sports nutrition.

Tulkinghorn has been told that Cornish pasties are great for endurance events. No, really. They are full of protein and carbs – everything an active body needs. Tulkinghorn agrees, having often trained on several curries and a few pints of rosé wine a week.
