Cheryl Ronaldson is leaving Clifford Chance to join the insurance group at Norton Rose. Ronaldson specialises in corporate and regulatory insurance and has experience working for Lloyd's on a variety of matters. She is the second partner to join the group this month, with Susan Dingwall leaving her post as head of reinsurance at Dibb Lupton Alsop at the beginning of the year.
Colin Hall has retired from the company law department at Slaughter and May at the age of 51. Hall specialised in investment funds, but will now concentrate on his interest in conservation, becoming a trustee for the Woodland Trust and the Tree Register of the British Isles.
Russell Jarvis is joining the construction division of Berrymans Lace Mawer in Leeds. He comes from construction firm Masons where he was a senior associate. Jarvis specialises in joint ventures, PFI projects and commercial work.
Michael Jones is leaving Barlow Lyde & Gilbert to join the insurance division of the corporate and finance group at Eversheds. Jones has been an adviser to the Government on terrorism insurance proposals. He takes with him two assistant solicitors, Steven Ramsden and Simon Porter.
Jamie Logie is leaving Norton Rose to join the London office of US firm Sullivan & Cromwell. Before moving to Norton Rose's London office to head the banking industry group, Logie was managing partner of the Singapore practice.
Mike Stubbs and Nicholas Pike are leaving Dibb Lupton Alsop to join the insolvency and recovery group at Lawrence Graham. Both were part of the Alsop Wilkinson insolvency team and have experience working for banks, financial institutions and companies. Stubbs will be joint head of the group.
Caryn Hemsworth is joining the international finance group at the New York office of Watson Farley & Williams. Hemsworth was formally an associate in the lease financing group at Chadbourne & Parke, specialising in asset-based financing and lease transactions.
Edward Evans is leaving Irish firm William Fry to head an affiliated law firm for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Dublin. Evans was a partner at William Fry.
