Russell-Cooke Potter & Chapman has merged with part of the smaller firm Evill and Coleman to build up its commercial property department.
Russell-Cooke's commercial property department has been joined by Evill and Coleman's senior partner Jim Fairclough, partner Arnold Isaacson and its experienced property team.
The merger will also enhance Russell-Cooke's employment, litigation and private client teams with the arrival of two extra partners and four assistants.
Russell-Cooke, which has 20 partners, specialises in commercial property, family and child care, wills and trusts, and commercial litigation. Evill and Coleman had nine partners and specialised in personal injury, conveyancing and litigation.
John Gould, managing partner of Russell-Cooke, says: "The merger will increase our ability to provide specialist teams."
The remaining partners and staff of Evill and Coleman will continue at its Putney office as a niche medical negligence and personal injury practice.
