Pannone has posted growth of almost 19 per cent, hitting a total turnover of £50.8m, from last year’s level of £42.8m.
With such healthy growth, the firm is now tugging on the tailends of rival regional firms such as Cobbetts.
Cobbetts posted a disappointing turnover of £59m for 2007-8, just £1m above last year’s figure.
Other firms to post double-figure growth include silver circle and top 15 outfits Herbert Smith, Norton Rose and Simmons & Simmons, while the strong H1s helped mid-market firms such as Davies Arnold Cooper, Nabarro and Weightmans also reach mid-teen growth.
Personal injury, Pannone’s largest department by turnover, accounted for £12.8m, a rise of 19 per cent on last year.
However the highest rates of growth were seen in the firm’s insolvency and regulatory groups, which grew by 33 per cent and 32 per cent respectively.
