Leading Guernsey firm Ozannes has appointed litigation partner Robert Shepherd as its new managing partner. At the same time the firm has launched a dedicated trusts practice, to be led by partner St John Robilliard. Shepherd, who joined the firm in 2001 from Clifford Chance, succeeds Peter Harwood as managing partner. The firm is renowned for its strong litigation practice and in the last year advised Westminster City Council on its case against Dame Shirley Porter. Harwood remains at the firm as head of the corporate department.
