Bristol-based Osborne Clarke has appointed Simon Beswick as managing partner for another four-year term following an uncontested election.
Beswick was first elected to the post in 2002, having previously held the position of international head of private equity. He replaced managing partner Leslie Perrin, who became the firm's first full-time senior partner.
Beswick’s reappointment follows extensive management re-shuffling in 2006.
In May, Osborne Clarke placed IT partner Simon Rendell in charge of its London office, with partner Paul Gardner replacing him as head of the commercial practice group.
Rendell, meanwhile, succeeded Tim Birt as London head, who was elected senior partner in March and took over from Leslie Perrin on 1 May.
