Osborne Clarke is ramping up its corporate practice with the hire of two new partners.
Former McGrigors partner Moray Macpherson joined the firm on 10 June. Prior to joining McGrigors’ Macpherson was head of corporate at South East firm Bond Pearce. He will practice largely in corporate and M&A transactions, but also in private equity.
Julian Gamble joins Osborne Clarke as a partner from Jones Day, where he was a senior associate. Gamble brings with him specialisation in pharmaceuticals and biotechnology as well as private equity.
The hires follow a solid set of financial year results which saw Osborne Clarke’s average profits per partner rise by 30 per cent to £303,000.
Among the firm’s corporate clients are 3i and Barclays Private Equity.
