Osborne Clarke astounds with 30 per cent profit hike

Osborne Clarke has announced a record set of financial year figures, with provisional profits per partner (PPP) rising by 30 per cent.

Profits have risen to £303,000 from £233,000 in 2002/3003. The hike takes the firm back above 2001/2002 levels, when the firm recorded profits of £270,000.

Revenue for the 2003/2004 financial year is up by 6 per cent to £64m, from £60.9m the previous year.

This year, the firm announced the Italian alliance with Milan-based boutique Abbatescianni et Associati. It has re-committed to the US technology market, with corporate partner Andy Gowans taking the reins as managing partner of the firm’s Silicon Valley operation.
