This year, The Lawyer’s annual ranking of the largest UK law firms by turnover is available as an interactive, digital benchmarking tool. For the first time this will allow you to manipulate each data set against the metrics of your choice.
The group includes former chairman Barry Levin (pictured) as well as Robert Rosenfeld, Heller chairman from 1993-99, and Larry Popofsky, co-chair of the firm from 1988-93. Levin was most recently the managing shareholder of the San Francisco office.
In London, anti-trust partner Douglas Lahnborg has moved across.
Orrick has also taken three New York-based partners. They are Joshua Rosenkranz, former chair of Heller's appeals and strategy group, antitrust partner Richard Goldstein and Edward Joyce, an insurance recovery partner.
The group Orrick has hired is made up of 27 partners and one senior counsel. In total, eight former Heller practice group leaders have joined Orrick, a group that includes Edward Henneberry, former co-chair of the European practice group. The largest single practice group is antitrust, where Orrick has taken 13 partners.
Ralph Baxter, chairman and CEO of Orrick, said: "All of these lawyers are leaders in their respective fields, and the collective strength of this group is remarkable. I know they will be integral to continued success for the firm and for our clients."
