Orrick replaces London chief

Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe has appointed a new head for its London office, as the current incumbent returns to the US.

Adrian Harris, who joined the firm from O’Melveny & Myers last year, is taking over the London leadership from Michael Bacon, an energy and project finance expert who previously ran Orrick’s Tokyo office for seven years.

Harris, who also heads up the firm’s European insolvency and restructuring practice, will take over the running of the UK group on 1 January 2004.
