Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe has made up 13 lawyers to the partnership in the firm’s latest round of promotions.
Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe has promoted 13 lawyers to its partnership in the latest round of promotions.
All but one of the promotions were made in the firm’s US offices, with Los Angeles, San Francisco and Silicon Valley all receiving three and New York and Washington, DC seeing one promotion. Orrick’s Hong Kong office received one.
Orrick chairman Ralph Baxter said: “Each of these new partners meets our high standards for admission to the partnership.”
Last year, the firm promoted 16 to the partnership with the firm’s US offices again receiving the most. In the international network, Rome and Tokyo received one and two promotions respectively.
Last month, The Lawyer reported that Orrick had announced a dip of 20.8 per cent for profit per equity partner (PEP) from $1.66m in 2007 to $1.315m last year while revenue increased by 8 per cent from $772m up to $835m (13 January 2009).
