Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe has announced the promotion of 15 lawyers to its partnership, including one new partner in London.
The firm’s January promotion round saw the appointment of London-based lawyer Jinal Shah as partner. Shah is a member of the firm’s corporate group and advises public and private companies and financial institutions on corporate and commercial matters. Orrick said it was awaiting regulatory approval for a further London partner promotion.
The US firm’s additional new partners are: Sarah Downie, a member of the compensation and benefits group in New York; Elyse Echtman, John Ewald and Richard Jacobsen, litigation lawyers based in New York; Anthony Kim, a Washington-based antitrust lawyer; Alexander Lathrop, a Washington-based insurance coverage disputes specialist; Khai LeQuang, a Los-Angeles based litigator; Richard Martinelli, a New-York based IP lawyer; finance lawyers Nikiforos Mathews and Kevin Roche in New York; Warrington Parker, a San Francisco IP lawyer; Eric Wall, a tax lawyer based in San Francisco; and Michael Weil, a San Francisco litigator.
