Orrick adds Dewey partner to Paris restructuring team

Philippe Hameau becomes the sixth litigation partner in Orrick’s Paris office, which now has over 30 partners in total.

Hameau previously led Dewey’s French restructuring and insolvency group. He focuses on banking and commercial litigation, advising both distressed companies and their creditors and shareholders.

Pascal Agboyibor, Orrick’s Paris office leader, said the hire was a step towards creating “one of the top broad-service firms in the Paris market”.

Orrick’s French presence was significantly boosted in January 2006, when it merged with French independent Rambaud Martel.
