City firm Orchard has kicked off the New Year by recruiting two new partners, continuing a hiring spree that has tripled the partnership in the last eighteen months.
TMT specialist Mark Cranwell and corporate lawyer David McLeod Smith are moving to the firm from Coudert Brothers and Klegal respectively.
Cranwell has previously advised French media group Canal+ Group, the Toyota Formula 1 Grand Prix racing team and a number of TV and film companies. McLeod Smith has acted for investment banks such as Evolution Beeson Gregory and KBC Peel Hunt on a range of initial public offerings.
Orchard’s senior partner David Orchard said the hires kept the firm on course to establish a “serious alternative to the bigger firms in the international arena”.
