British Virgin Islands (BVI) firm O'Neal Webster reported a slight rise in turnover last year but added one partner in the shape of former Walkers partner Christopher McKenzie. McKenzie launched the firm's London office in July, marking O'Neal Webster's first foray outside the BVI.
More generally, the firm has been examining ways to improve its efficiency. More resources are now online, and O'Neal Webster is seeking to make it easier for fee earners to work remotely. A revamped knowledge management system is on the cards.
In the next 12 months, O'Neal Webster has plans to grow its City base. It is also eyeing opportunities in Asia and Latin America.
