Olswang wins place at top of Aim league

Olswang is one of the leading advisers to Alternative Investment Market listed companies - second only to Nabarro Nathanson.

Olswang's strong showing as a company Aim adviser emerges from an analysis of the listings in the directory Crawfords City Connections.

In January the AIM Guide Quarterly Update ranked the 22-partner firm sixth in its league table. However, it worked out rankings by adding up every firm mentioned in every company's prospectus, whether it advised the company or the sponsor.

The new figures show almost all of Olswang's AIM advice was to companies rather than registered nominated advisers, or "nomads". By contrast Gouldens emerges as a specialist nomads adviser. It is not listed as principal adviser to any AIM-listed company, but has since won two company clients.
