Offshore firm Ogier has made two internal partner promotions in its Cayman Islands office.
Giorgio Subiotto, a corporate and commercial lawyer who joined the firm in 2002 from Sullivan & Cromwell, has also worked Linklaters and Brazilian firm Pinheiro Neto-Advogados.
Colin Mackay advises on mutual fund administration for law firms and banks. Before joining Ogier in 2003 he worked at Scottish firms MacRoberts and Maclay Murray & Spens.
Chairman of Ogier, Jonathan White, said he was delighted to welcome Giorgio and Colin to the Ogier partnership. "Their appointment reflects the rapid growth and development of the Cayman office and Ogier as a whole across all the jurisdictions within which we operate,” he added.
The appointments gives Ogier six partners in its Cayman office.
