How refreshing to see a firm looking for ways of offering new services to
its clients. The news that Charles Russell is setting up an equal
opportunity training company shows that some firms at least are thinking
"outside the box".
If the company does as it promises and offers bespoke advice on everything
from personnel issues to employment law, then the firm's clients can look
forward to a more complete service, a multidisciplinary service some would
say.
At a time when so many firms seem obsessed with opening new offices in far
flung places or with poaching partners isn't it about time that we thought
about new ways of serving our clients? After all, they pay the bills and
there may be business oportunities we are missing by spending all our time
looking inward.
